In some cases, people might also need micro-needling and chemical peels, which are effective procedures for getting blemish-free skin.

Prevention of Hyperpigmentation

Skincare does not require too much effort, money, or time. Here are a few steps you can take to ensure skin protection and fight the development of dark spots-

  • Applying sunscreen lotion with a suitable SPF level before stepping out in the sun can give adequate skin protection during both summer and winter.
  • Try to limit sun exposure and avoid going out during heightened radiation activity.
  • Look for skincare products that control melanin overproduction and contain natural skin brightening agents. 
  • Sleep with a clean and fresh face. Washing and cleaning your face at the end of the day, ensure there are no pollutant particles left on your face. 
  • Look for a night serum or cream that is effective in destabilizing UVA/UVB damages.
  • Vitamin A products increase the turnover of skin cells and help in rejuvenation and resurfacing of the skin. Vitamin A includes Retinol and Tretinoin that are beneficial for skin health. Look for products and food rich in Vitamin A.
  • Eat healthy food so that your inner system can fight the external causes and maintain the healthy texture of your skin.
  • Take care of your skin by applying natural face packs once in a while with ingredients that help in treating sun and heat damage like Aloe Vera and Cucumber. Do not succumb to pimple pricking no matter how bad it looks.
