Here are 12 amazing skincare tips to help you out during travel

1. Always Wear Effective Sunscreen While Traveling
Do not forget to apply the right amount of SPF sunscreen before leaving the house to travel to your next destination. Regardless, even if you’re on the plane, protect your skin from harmful UVA & UVB rays.

2. Don’t Forget to Tie Your Hair Back
Even if you think that leaving your hair down makes you look glamorous and suits your traveling look, it can cause acne. You do not want to ruin your mood due to bad skin after all. Tie your hair back while traveling and relax as you sip a cup of green tea while on the plane.

3. Avoid Using Makeup Wipes to Remove Makeup
After a long and tiring day out, wiping your make up off with makeup removing wipes seems like a good and easy choice. But it doesn’t clean your skin properly and can lead to breakouts, blackheads, and clogged pores. If you don’t have a choice, wash your face with a gentle cleanser after and apply a light moisturizer.

4. Don’t Wear Long-lasting Makeup While Traveling
We understand if you want to look your best when you get down from the plane at your destination. Who wouldn’t want to click great pictures for Instagram right away? But putting on long-lasting makeup might lead to dehydration of the skin such as chapped lips from waterproof lipstick. Choose light makeup and apply tinted chapstick on your lips to look fresh all around.

5. Don’t Overdo Your Skincare Routine
Avoid over-applying so many heavy skincare products on your skin. You do not want to let your skin react to any one of them. Do not carry serums or oils and welcome any acne-breakouts. Carry a light moisturizer, effective sunscreen, and toner to keep it light and breezy.

6. Always Keep Washing Your Hands
When you go out and especially while traveling, you touch many things that make you the breeding ground for bacteria. It can transfer into your skin and lead to skin infections or allergies. You can also keep a hand sanitizer into your travel bag to keep your hands clean.

7. Keep Skincare Products According to the Climate of the Travel Destination
Research well before packing for the trip. But keep in mind to pack non-comedogenic products that won’t clog your pores. Congested pores can lead to acne, and nobody wants that on a trip. If you are going to a colder climate, consider taking a good moisturizer along with you.

8. Get Your Favorite Skincare Products in Travel-Size
Packing those big bottles of all the products can take much space. Purchase small size of your travel skincare products and save some space to keep those extra heels which you were thinking of leaving behind.

9. Avoid Applying the Sheet Mask on the Plane
You must have seen many bloggers applying the sheet mask on the plane to keep the skin fresh and hydrated, but skincare experts do not recommend it. While in the flight, due to humidity, it can dry the sheet mask. Apply sheet mask before leaving your home and finish it off with good facial oil.

10. Make a List of Products You Should Use Before Heading to the Airport

Keep your best products in mind before applying the final products on your skin and leaving the house. Experts recommend to apply an intense moisturizer and keep the makeup light or maybe avoid any makeup on. Apply a tinted chap stick, and you are good to go.

11. Don’t Use Facial Mist on Your Face
Applying facial mists seems like an amazing idea for the final touch-up, but while traveling on the plane, it might dry out your skin even more. Facial mists don’t work, and it evaporates water from your skin.

12. Keep a Jade Roller in Your Traveling Bag
Apply eye cream and moisturizer and use a jade roller to reduce puffiness around the eyes. It promotes relaxation and keeps your skin look fresh.
